We only had one night in Cheltenham, but staying at this hotel was a good choice. The building is impressive and the service was great. Our room was lovely and spacious and the bed was so comfortable we were tempted to stay longer. The buffet breakfast was typical English with options to order various dished from the kitchen, served in a light conservatory on the side of the building. A wonderful experience overall.

Stayed here many times over the years and it never changes. That's a blessing and a curse. Rooms are quirky and use the ancient building well, if a little creaky at times. Staff are always fun and happy, which cannot be taken for granted in busy hotels. Ok car parking but now £17 per night. Cheaper to pay for on street parking outside if you have an early start. There are a couple of electric chargers available but nearly always busy. Don't rely on them if you need a charge! Great location, it's Cheltenham so not exactly a metropolis but you can hardly get more central especially for the festivals.

I can't recommend this hotel enough. We stayed overnight for the Sunday special. £150 including breakfast and evening meal. The staff were amazing. The food was gorgeous The room was lovely and comfortable. It's very posh like being in a stately house. The car park is on site £15 bargain. Five star any day. Thank you.

We held a small wedding breakfast here and felt that I need to post a review! Alex and team where exceptional. Gabriel was excellent; making us aware of issues and advising us to how things were going. The food was amazing (with good choice), the service was fanasitic. We stayed the night and breakfast was also excellent. We had looked at a number of places but we were very happy with our choice.

I had my birthday party and celebration dinner at the Queens Hotel on Saturday 29th November in the Regency Suite. We were a party of 40 and I cannot praise the hotel enough for the support they provided, before and during the event. The food was excellent, the room was beautifully arranged and the service was impeccable. A group of us stayed overnight and had a lovely breakfast together in the morning. I thoroughly recommend the Queens Hotel as venue for such a celebration! Special mention to Norm who is a diamond :-)

I found this a very nice place to stay. Overall the building is very impressive, with lots of stunning features. I also found the staff to be very welcoming and friendly. I was greeted with a smile and it genuinely felt like the staff wanted to be helpful and help me enjoy my stay. The room I had could have done with some TLC but overall I liked it here. I suspect some of the nicer would be a real treat. I'm returning today Fri13thFeb with my wife and friends, so looking forwards to it and then updating the review.

A lovely hotel with, in the main, very friendly staff. I explained to the receptionist that I'm disabled with chronic pain, and asked if there were any rooms available with a bath, as that really helps ease pain - especially after a long drive for one night. I couldn't see which rooms had baths on our work booking system. The lady wanted £50 extra for a bath. When I got to ny room with a shower, there was no shower gel: only bubble bath... That said, the restaurant was excellent, as was breakfast. Very friendly staff there. So a great place to stay, if not a very friendly welcome.

Stayed here for 1 night as visit to Cheltenham with friends. Rooms were very spacious and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is located perfectly for a walk down to high street type shopping plenty of bars and restaurants within easy reach.
